Christina’s debut as the chair of the ESDR Sweet and Sour Kitchen Seminar series together with co-chair Prof. Remco van Doorn: Latest developments in the science of vitiligo pathogenesis.

Christina has received the ERC CoC grant and €2 Mio funding for her frontier research on immune protection across human tissues. Thrilled and humbled by this prestigious award and full of gratitude to her terrific, dedicated and friendly team.

Just informed by Google Scholar that our Nature paper has reached the 1000 citation milestone. Happy for the impact this work has for the scientific community.

Our discovery on IL-1alpha release by human Th17 cells via Gasdermin E pores (Nat Immunol 2023) was selected as highlight by the Germany Society of Immunology. The illustration even made it to the cover of the DGFI quarterly news.
